Enjoyed at Zum Steifel in Saarbrucken. 3L gun-barrel glass Weizen seasonal. My appetizer before dinner. Hazy unfiltered straw color. Very light yeasty plastic aroma. Full bodied and very thirst quenching. Mellow clove linger on pallate. One or two is a real treat but not more. I think this style is very demanding on the pallate and I am not capable of drinking massive quantities of it without losing my grip on its sensorial elegance.
