Malty aroma is lightly sweet with just a hint of grain. Light brown head is dense in the center and froathy around the edges, which I have never seen before. It's collapsing in on itself leaving some thick whisps of lace. Deep chestnut colored beer with an amber hue around the edges. A bit of caramel along with the signature kellerbier grainyness. Understated hops make a late appearance adding a tea like flavor and a slight astringency. This is a dunkel keller bier according to the brewery. The body and hop tea flavor remind me of an altbier, but the rest is typical kellerbier. I really enjoy this beer. The flavor is addictive and I can't seem to take a big enough sip.
