Served at cellar temperature from 500ml bottle into straight pint glass.
Apparently, this is a chocolate-infused version of their regular Guerilla stout.
L) Very dark red-tinged brown opaque, thin bubbly off-white head.
S) Very sweet chocolate. Think low-calorie hot chocolate drink. Can't ask for much more if you are a chocolate stout fan like me.
T) Not too sweet as the nose may have suggested. Intense slightly coconut chocolate flavour lasts long, counter acted slightly by a hint of sourness, with a faint roast hop bitterness.
F) The low ABV is reflected in the mouthfeel; this goes down very easy, and the lack of bitterness means it is an easy drinker.
O) Definitely one of the better chocolate stouts I have had. Recommended to any fans of the style.
