Had this in two different bars recently, this review is of a hand pulled pint from the excellent 'Wrekin Inn' Wellington, Shropshire.
Golden colour, thin white head, not the best looking beer on earth, but OK.
The smells were of citrusy hops (they are American apparently, Simcoe and Chinook)and some pine like resinous.
Good mix of flavours, well blended with the hops taking centre stage and the hop hovvering in the background, but never far away.
This is fairly strong for a UK IPA, but it hides the alcohol well and although hoppy it is nowhere near the West Coast of the US (currently) style of hop crazy brews.
