22oz bottle poured into oversized wine glass
A - Pours a hazy orange amber. Minimal white head. Slight particulate
S - A nice floral citric smell. I pick up some oranges and obviously cherries. The Belgian yeast is in there with slight bready malts
T - Surprisingly a nice, yet subtle, cherry sourness to it. I also pick up some orange, tangerine and the honey. The funky Belgian yeast is also there.
M - Excellent carbonation, dry, crisp and fresh
D - Very easy to drink, great beer. I prefer this slightly over it's twin brother the Pie Cherry Porter, however, both beers are great to drink.

Taking the new local Belgian Beer company out for a spin. Picked this up at John's Market in Multnomah Village. 22 oz. bottle in the labeled self distributed section. Poured into my Birra Moretti wine style glass.
A: Well carbonated, but little head retention. A nice strawbeery blonde haze to the beer.
S: Honestly smells like pie cherries. Almost a sweet smell with a hint of the yeast that is to come.
T: This beer has a fruity character with some slight sourness & yeasty flavor.
M: The mouthfeel is refreshing. Complex & dry flavor that makes you anxious for another sip.
D: I would definately buy this again. Easy to drink. Look forward to more from this brewery.

Appears hazy yellow/ gold with a small white head.
It smells of peppery fruity yeast, dry bready like malts, tart, herbal, earthy cherries and mild honey. There is a nice balance between the fruity peppery yeasty smell and the tart cherry smell.
It tastes much like the smell. There is a nice fruity (citrus and raison) yeasty flavor. There is a nice potent cherry flavor that adds a nice tart herbal and earthy flavor as well to the beer. There is nice mild honey sweetness in the finish of the beer. There is a nice balance to the beer, though I would like more of a powerful cherry flavor to the beer.
The carbonation is moderate low and there is a smooth mouthfeel to the beer.
The drinkability is fairly good. It goes down smooth. I could drink a few of these beers.
