A: Bright neon gold. Yellowish head. Overly carbonated.
S: Lemon, ginger and sour. Light floral and rose. Oily and soapy notes.
T: Fascinating. Lemony up front with a cool refreshing light beer flavor. The light clean flavors give way to a vegetable overtone of carrot and celery with a spicy heat. After several sips the heat grows to a definite spiciness.
M: Very light at first. The heat builds at the back of the throat and finishes too long for my taste.
O: I like beer. I like ginger soda and ginger candy and I like them strong. This was a fascinating combination of the two. At first the ginger and the spiciness bothered me, but it seemed to mellow out (or rather I got used to it) as time went on. It's called a ginger farmhouse, but unfortunately my unrefined palate had trouble detecting the farmhouse qualities that were buried under ginger. I can taste a little wild culture but very little. The ridiculous over carbonation was a drawback along with the heat buildup. Overall a very thought provoking brew.

hazy bright golden color. Extremely fluffy bright white head,4 fingers. Massive Funk, earthy, band aid and wet hay, lemon peel/lemon zest with spicy ginger root in the back. Green apple and honey sweet note but delicate. not a sweet smelling beer but some fruity tart hints. Spicy ginger and black pepper up front with some subtle hops bitterness/tartness. Extremely high carbonation open up palate for ginger massive ginger beer like spiciness. Finishes dry like a summer day in the Sahara but not too thin, surprisingly. Medium light body. The honey lingers in the finish thickening up the overall mouth feel. Not super balanced but not to extreme ether. Kind of in between. Ginger is intense(but I love spicy ginger personally) The honey is not to sweet but add a sweet aroma touch with a thicker mouth feel witch I think does a great service to this otherwise overly dry beer. 6.5% abv is no were to be found . AMAZING!
