Yields a crystal clear, dark brown color with a big, stable mahogony colored head.
Smells of bread dough, toffee and rustic, slightly toasted grains among a whiff of caramel.
Drinks light, perfectly balanced, with a refreshing mouthfeel.
Tastes of toffee, a faint note of ground coffee, sweet caramel and spicy licorice. Manages to produce a slight, noble hop appearance during midpalate, with more caramel joining in. Finishes smooth and soft, with a prominent, whole grain accompanied caramel sweetness.
Sweet and rustic with a nice, well working hop addition, this is a very tasty Dunkel.

Pours a deep mahogany coloration with a large, creamy head and slightly visible carbonation. Smells of toasted, grainy, caramel malt and notes of coffee and walnut. Taste is a good balance of quite toasted, grainy, caramel malt and lighter, earthy/herbal hops, with notes of coffee, walnuts and just a hint of dark fruit: raisin, dates. Finishes crisp and clean, with a light/medium bitterness and some toasted malt and herbal/earthy hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Quite a crisp and clean Dunkel with a good balance of toasted, caramel malt and earthy/herbal hops. Drinks easy, yet has a certain complexity to it, quite enjoyable, with a strong toasted malt character.
