One of the classic beer bars in Stockholm. Or pubs, I should say, beacause both vibe and decor is very much English pub.

Friendly vibe and good, Swedish service, meaning not overly chatty unless you start it.

Selection and quality is very good, about two dozen taps with good variety and a couple of beers brewed for the place specifically. Good bottle list as well, with a focus on Belgian and Scandinavian beer.

Food menu is quite comprehensive and of the gastropub variety. Didn't eat, but wat I saw looked and smelled good.

Overall, a very nice place, comfy and welcoming. I'll spend more time here next time.

Well this was the 3rd time I was walking down a street and lo' and behold, by chance, come across one of the great beer bars of Stockholm. It's a nice atmosphere inside. Clean, slightly rustic, and well setup. Bar in the center of the main area is a square with taps on three sides. At least half a dozen Swedish beers when I was there. Extensive bottle list.

First visit was during lunch which wasn't the best time to be ordering and enjoying beer. In Sweden pretty much all restaurants do this thing where you come in for a very inexpensive lunch and you have a very nice (usually) salad bar and choice of entrée. So a lot of the places have wait staff running all over creation, here included. They were courteous and professional with me and tolerated my ordering "outside the lines" with my beer and all. Night time was much better for drinking, though a lot of the staff seems slightly in a haze a bit. Kind of joyless and robotic. There was one gentleman who was the local beer expert there. Selection was good with a pretty sizeable list covering Sweden, the US, and Belgium heartily. Overall it's a pretty nice spot. There are certainly many other bars closer to the Central Station with comparable, or thicker, beer lists, but there is no reason to avoid this place.
