Light amber brew with a modest head in the St. Bernardus globe. I didn't realize this was so low-alcohol until I was halfway through the bottle. Surprising amount of flavor, but certainly light bodied. Sharp and bubbly on the tongue.
Aroma seems a little lacking. Some flavors of straw and a faint malty sweetness. Some herbal hop flavors with a dull juniper resiny taste. Bitter, but not outrageous. Still, the aftertaste is a bitterness that takes a very long time to fade. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Texas Liquors in Carlsbad.
