A really good Winter Märzen with a smokey note that really opens up on the Tongue.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a lovely clear mahogany color with a modest off-white head that soon diminishes to a nice ring. The nose gets malt and a touch of smoke (ein hauch von rauch), both of which follow in the mouth as well. Nice beer.
