Hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma pops with peppers and grains and some fresh mango in the background. Taste has malt sweetness, butter biscuits, green pepper heat and hops in the background. Medium body and medium to soft carbonation. I really like it, it packs quite some heat but it works well.

Canned on 6/1/17, poured on 7/2/17
L: Cloudy orange
S: Jalapeño and bell pepper, and not in a good way.
T: Jalapeño and Bell peppers. Spicy. Initially, I didn't like the flavor at all but I love Back Forty so I'll give it a chance...
F: Spicy burn aftertaste. My lips are even spiced up.
O: Needs more mango, hop and malt. This is the first brew from Back Forty that I don't care for. Sorry for the bad review but this is just not my kind of beer.

This beer pours nicely but that is about it. The jalapeño flavor is too strong and drowns out any hint of mango. This one burns going down and is sure to give you heart burn like you've never had before.

Poured from 12 oz can dated 6/1/2017.
A: Cloudy golden orange with one finger white head. Fairly short retention and moderate lacing.
S: Hot peppers with a distinct vegetable quality and ripe mango. A bit of green bell pepper in the back.
T: Jalapeño heat that is somewhat controlled by sweet citrus. Hops get lost in the mix.
M: Medium body with average carbonation. Finish has a little pepper heat and some slight bitterness.
O: Tasty and unique beer. Strictly viewed as an IPA it falls a little short, but as a spicy beer it's a winner.
