First had: on tap at Prism

A "stripped down" version of their spiced Red Zone ale, Naked Red poured a deep red-brown color with a small cap of off-white head that receded to a ringlet and left a bit of lacing on the glass. The nose was malt-heavy, toasted bread, caramel. Pretty much the same in the taste, lots of chewy, sweet malts, and mild earthy hops in the background. It's pretty basic stuff. It's a red ale, so there's not much else to say about it, but it was well done and easily drinkable, body was medium, carbonation was moderate to low. Pretty good for the style.
