Dar hazy gold pour with 1.5 finger medium cream head. Not much lace and zero head retention.
Intense citrus hops for the style. Light bready malts, but mainly grapefruit and lemon. Nice hop presence.
Big grainy hop hit on the tongue. Intense finish. Listed at at high IBU and the taste seems to back that up. Big bright citrus finish.
Very nicely done and one I'll gladly get again.

Poured from tap at Brewery:
A: Copper pale, probably from crystal malts, with short lasting 1/2 inch head.
S: Medium hop aroma of citrus and pine. Probably a blend of C hops. Would expect more hop aroma from an APA. Seemed to not be dry hopped.
T: Balanced with nice malt flavor backed up with a clean bitterness. Once again, hop flavor is subdued as it seems later addition hopping is not utilized.
M: Good carbonation with a medium mouth feel
O: A nice pale ale that seems stuck between English (malt dominate) and American (Hop flavor dominant) pale characteristics. More hop additions would greatly benefit this beer.
