This Black IPA is one of the better I have tried.
It pours out a pitch black with a 1 finger off-white head.
It smells strongly of roasted malt and hints of chocolate.
Taste wise is something like a hopped up porter. There is a very slight hint of smoke, lots of roasted malt, chocolate, grassy hops and a hint of citrus.
This finishes very crisp, slightly creamy and bitter.
Very balanced and enjoyable. Easy to drink a few.
