This incredibly drinkable ale is made with American malted wheat and finished with German Tettnanger hops. It is crisp and refreshing with a very strong wheat flavor and just the right amount of hop bitterness at the end.

On tap at the brewery; served in a tasting glass. Slightly hazy golden color, with a snow white head. Decent retention and lacing. Light bodied and refreshing, with aromas and flavors of of grain, herbal hops, and a light citrus note. Crisp finish, with a pleasantly bitter hop kick. Excellent beer, fine example of the style.

Pours a hazy, yellow color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Decent retention and good lacing. Smells of slight sweet malt and slight yeast. Fits the style of an American Pale Wheat Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes of wheat, yeast, slight sweet malt, and a hint of hop. Overall, a drinkable beer, smooth mouth feel, and much better than the previous reviews give it credit. I'm assuming the brew has changed in the past couple of years.

Nice pour for the style and for the brewpubs in this area. Opaque golden honey haze and it actually has a head! Heads around these parts are frowned upon, you see, and its rare that a bartender pours one--not that it's the bartender's fault, necessarily, if I had farmers keep sending back Miller Lites because there was more than a centimeter of white on their tops I probably would stop pouring heads, too.
Rich and crisp smell. Bread wheat, hey, a hint of pleasant butter, and very light pils fruit.
Tastes a bit more tame. Very plain wheat, like bread, along with a mash of simple grains weighed down a bit by butter.
This is a decent beer, good for a session. The diactyl is tolerable and there's no chemical aftertaste.

Sampled on tap 2/5/05 at Cedar Brewing. Comes to me with a nice golden appearance...quite light with a small bubbly head off the tap. A nice light wheat grain aroma with lemony tones...a bit subdued overall, pretty standard for an american wheat.
First sip is upfront with nice light grainy malts along with hints of citric lemon and some grassy hops as well. There's a bit of sourness as well on the way down which makes it interesting.
Smooth, crisp and clean but a bit thin overall...goes down easy with ample carbonation. This is an easy drinking wheat beer..nothing really special overall but it's nice and refreshing. Worth a try at least!
