An ale, not a lager. They want you to to be sure of that.
It smells hoppy upfront, a little like sryup with hints of fruit. It tastes hoppy upfront with sweet malt, hoppy in the back, bitter. Hops hops hops. Too much hops, actually. Where's the malt? What kind of Oktoberfest is this? Not a bad tasting one, but not any sort that I am used to.
