Tasted On-Tap 01/18/06 at Cedar Brewing Co.
Almost pitch black with a nice brown-ish head. Prominent chocolate, roasted malt and coffee aromas and flavors. Very robust profile. Medium-full bodied and creamy smooth from the use of nearby Quaker Oats with a nice roasty bitter coffee-like finish.
By far, the best beer brewed at Cedar Brewing Co. I look forward to this one every time I visit Cedar Rapids in the winter.
