With a distinct sweet maltiness and chocolate-like character, this beer is a dark wheat classic.

On tap 9/15/04 at Cedar Brewing Co.
Solid brown with a beige head. Light chocolate and light roasted aroma and flavor. Certainly no true yeasty Dunkel Weizen characteristics. Light bodied.
Very nice easy drinking light American Dark Wheat. One of Cedar's better beers and certainly in my top 3 for this tasting.
Per CB website: Dark wheat beer similar to the Golden Hawk but with a generous amount of chocolate malt which adds a cocoa-like flavor.
