Its all about the honey in this ale. The Bees Knees is brewed with a small amount of caramel malts for color and a small amount of hops just to balance out the sweetness of the honey. We use 25 lbs of locally produced Wild Flower honey in every batch. It is smooth and sweet, and our most popular beer.

Pours a clear, copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight hops, hint of wheat, hint of honey, and slight pale malt. Fits the style of an American Blonde Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of pale malt, slight honey, hint of sweet malt, and a hint of grain. Overall, the honey is clearly discerned and yet does not dominate the aroma or blend.
