Refreshing and blooming the Farmers Market Citrus Gose Lager is a little sweet, a little salty, and a ray of citrus sunshine; this gose-style lager brewed with fresh navel oranges from Rainwater Ranch in Winters, CA

Undrinkable. Smells awful. Tastes a little better than awful. It's over-carbonated, curiously funky, and sodaish. Very difficult to finish. In fact, I didn't drink more than 5 ounces.

Brilliant gold in color with a light haziness. there's a fingernail of dishwater white on top. I smell plenty of sea salt and nothing else, typical to style. I'm tasting plenty of sea salt and light malt. The mouth is moderately carbonated and dense from the heavy salting. It's odd to know this was lagered because I don't feel this is any more drinkable than a typical gose. Upon further review it seems a bit more watered down.

Bottle poured into a Sudwerk Brewing pint glass
A: Pours effervescent golden straw with a frothy white head that dissipates quickly.
S: Citrus, orange and mild lemony tartness, a hint of light fruit, and a little wheat.
T: Mild lemony lactic tartness, orange, a little wheat, faint herbal note, a touch of light sweetness, and a hint of salt.
M: Light to medium body, lively carbonation.
O: Interesting take on a gose. Not the best I've ever had, but after working up a sweat on a hot muggy day this hit the spot.

Golden and clear, with a tall white head. The aroma is fruity, with some dough and fresh hops. The taste has the familiar Gose salt-dryness and a touch of bitterness, along with fruit. More fresh baked dough flavors, mixed with fruit. Medium-light in body. NIce.
