On tap at the brewery.
A: Black beer with a skinny off-white head. Minimal lacing and active carbonation. Looks like the hops acids make some oily blobs on the surface.
S: Sweet and roasted nose; notes of coffee and milk.
T: Roasty stout with medium bitterness. Some sweetness. Notes of hard water, carmelized maple sugar, sweet milk, and oatmeal sweetened with malt.
M: A bit too thick to be sessionable. The carbonation tries to pick the beer up, and makes it perfectly suitable for a quick pint. Would pair well with a burger.
D: Enjoyable and interesting, although more than one might be too much. Cheers!
