Golden and lightly hazy, with some champagne carbonation and 2 fingers of yellowish head.
Smells really fruity like pineapple, blueberries, green strawberry, and a hint of mandarin orange.
The taste follows the nose but is slightly dryer with a green leaf portion, much like an herbal bitter green.
Light body, little carbonation and a tannic finish.
The can label is great, and its an amazing beer. I got this in Sacramento and I am drinking it in Redding, Jan 9th, 2018.

Not sure what this 'style' is supposed to look like but this is a quite lovely golden/orange, heavily translucent, with a robust white head that leaves some lacing.
Nose is enticingly sweet with subtle notes of berries and stone fruit. Some resemblance to modern IPAs, some resemblance to modern american craft pilsner/kolsch. Not super powerful scent but a very pleasantly fruity/bready aroma.
Flavor first hits with a berry and peach note, along with some of the sweeter citrus fruits. Other stone fruits (nectarine, apricot, cherry?) are balanced by a light acidity along with a light butter cracker note. The herbal bitter hop note rings through at the end.
Mouthfeel is stupendously light and smooth. There's a creaminess that reminds me of some unknown to me cream ale that I used to get at my aunt and uncles house near milwaukee. A very nice crisp lager-esque finish though.
Overall I'm not familiar with any other brews in the style but this is certainly a standard bearer. It's awesome to see sudwerks keeping up with the times without losing their soul. This is a really top notch hopped lager and I do think could be inaugeral in a neipl style. Great for anyone who's not a hater

Can dated 09/25/18 into a Willi glass. Honestly wasn't sure what glass to select for a Hazy Hoppy Lager...
L: Pours golden with subtle haze, 1+ finger of variable density sticky white head with good retention and left ringed lacing.
S: The Galaxy overpowers the Citra on the nose, peach and bubblegum dominate for my senses. Subtle lime and mango once the beer warmed.
T: Follows the nose well, but with more prominence of the lime aspect. Finishes with mild bitterness, moderate acidity and subtle astringency, subtle bitterness and acidity linger on the palate.
F: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, slight tingling from the acidity but otherwise slick on the tongue and swallow.
O: Really didn't know what to expect from this one. Kind of feels like a unicorn, but I definitely enjoyed what they were attempting. Not something I'd seek out, but I'd certainly have again.
