Hazy India pale LAGER? Interesting... The appearance is not too hazy for a hazy. The aroma is subtly citrusy. The flavor has some hoppy bitterness, but not too much. I tend to avoid “juicy” IPAs, but this IPL wasn’t bad at all.

Pours a crisp, translucent sunshine/straw yellow with a rich snow white head. Great retention and nice lacing.
Smell pops right from the moment you open the can, honey soaked guava and papaya, with light notes of orange peel and cardamom.
Taste goes in a different direction with a ginger lemon peel note up front, sweet melon and citrus riding through the mid body. Lightly sharp pine/lemon peel/spice bite at the tail end. Overall a continuation of the streak of great brews sudwerk is putting out that satisfy the itch that session IPAs never have.
Mouthfeel is awesome, light and pillowy. Smooth, creamy, and crisp all at once. Great summer beer.
Overall I am absolutely in love with what these guys have been doing lately. Lagers with great hop flavor and aroma and softer and fuller mouthfeel than any session IPA I have tried. Highly recommended if you find yourself going back to session IPAs again and again and being dissapointed.
