On-tap at the brewpub. Pours a red amber with a smaller head that displayed limited retention. Aroma is quite nutty with a bit of banana and a touch of brown sugar. Tastes of wheat, tart banana, moderately bitter with a wheaty chocolate finish. Body is a bit thin but the high carbonation is nicely creamy as desired in this type of bier. A solid Dunkel, though a bit tame. If this were a bit stronger in flavor it would be quite good.
