On-tap at Woodstocks in Davis. Reviewed from notes.
A: Served a clear burnt light-amber with a quarter inch of white head that faded into a thin film.
S: Light uncomplicated notes of honey and cracked grains.
T: I get notes of honey and sweet clean grains. Flavors are light and easy to drink, with a sugary sweetness in the finish. I get slight herbal hops lingering in the aftertaste as well as a hint of lemon. I kinda get a bit of sour mash-like flavor as well.
M: Slick body, tingly carbonation that isn’t quit soda-like but it is a bit distracting.
O: Too sweet for me to love it as I think the honey flavor is a bit strong, but it’s not a bad drinking beer especially with a meal.
