Purchased this growler directly at the brewery on May 31 and shared with my wife and father last night at my parents for supper (boeuf bourgignon).
Appearance: Bright eggshell white head (4 fingers) that lasts quite a while an recedes to 1 finger. Body is an orange gold.
Smell: Faint whiff of hops and cereal. Nothing great.
Taste: Hops are there but very faint. It has a floral character and some fruit in there but overall it's a bit bland.
Mouthfeel: Very low carbonation, practically non-existent. Feels kind of like a cask beer. A bit thin.
Drinkability: Drinks well though it is a bit uninteresting.
Overall: I think this is better fresher and right out of the brewery though it was kept in my fridge the whole time. Not bad but not great.
