On-tap at Huntington Beach Beer Co.
A: The pour is a golden amber color with a thin white head topping it off.
S: The hops are there, but like most of the other beers here, they're grassy and rather unappealing. A bit of a citrus peel aroma does provide a bit of redemption. Unfortunately, there's a weird, sweet fruitiness of grapes and some corn.
T: Definitely a corn flavor to this, which really doesn't belong in a pale ale. Bitter hops with more grass and a touch of pine. Some light breadiness and faint citrus peel flavors.
M: Medium in body with a moderate carbonation.
O: You're not doing well if you can't pull off a basic pale ale. And this one wasn't executed well at all.

I know...I know....this is an American Pale Ale....It is supposed to be pale in color and not much else...but please...please add just a little something....T.G. for REAL West Coast Pale Ales. Color is...well pale...nothing from the nose. Taste is not what I want from a pale ale. Other than that...it is an easy drinking beer....so load up...if you can.

Poured a hazy orange color with a decent head, but it faded quickly. Slight grapefruit aroma. Taste is mainly hops with a little bit of malt backing it up. Mouthfeel was a bit too thin and watery. This was better than the Red on tap at the same brewpub, but still not that great.
