On tap at the source, consumed with my lunch, on to the beer:
This is a little paler in color, it leans towards yellow with a tint of gold. There is some lacing left on the glass as the beer is consumed. Flavor-wise, it is a little more rough to take than a German helles. It has sweetish, but stale grain taste with a little bit of piney hops brushing up in the background. It has a buzzy feel to it, maybe a little less carbonated in feel than a soda. Some lingering stale grain sweetness hangs around in the aftertaste.
Not horrible, but not exactly good either. It was better washing down food, but so are most other beers.
