On-tap at Huntington Beach Beer Co.
A: Pours amber in color with about a finger of tan/khaki head.
S: Surprisingly a fair amount of chocolate on the nose. The more traditional nose of toffee, bread, and caramel follow. There is a definite cooked grain aroma to the nose and some grassy hop notes.
T: Toffee and bread are the primary flavors with a nice toasted malt note. Unfortunately, more of the cooked grain and no real hop flavor and a very mild bitterness.
M: Medium in body with the carbonation on the light end of medium.
O: One of the less offensive beers at Huntington this day, but still not a favorite.
