Growler poured fresh at the brewery, consume some 30 hours later.

Gorgeous pour. Shimmering translucent amber with a two-finger bright white head and great lacing.

Smells like Centennial hops and pale malt. The hops dominate but don't overwhelm, and while it's not the most complicated of IPA aromas it's still well balanced.

Tastes as it smells--run of the mill for a well-brewed IPA, which is to say good but nothing that knocks your socks off. Dry hops start things off, moving into a lightly bready malt middle that doesn't quite balance the hops all the way and ending on a lingering, citrusy hop.

Good news: this tastes like a brewery IPA, not a brewpub IPA. Nothing against brewpubs but, you know, the standards aren't always as high. Not as good news: it's nothing exceptional. You're better off going with the dry-hopped amber.
