375ml can, could not see a date on it. Poured into a tulip.
Look: A nice dark brown colour, with about 1.5-2cm of slightly tanned head. Head retention is okay, but falls to a thin film over about 30 seconds.
Smell: Strong hit of coffee to begin with, there is a little biscuity malt underneath. Nice, if a little one note.
Taste: The malt comes through a little more here, biscuit and toffee, then the coffee comes through. That touch of sweetness mixed with the coffee kind of reminds me of Kopiko lollies (which I adore). Delightful.
Feel: Mouth filling, but not heavy at all. A tingly carbonation around the sides of the palate, then a nice finishing bitterness rounds it out. Leaves the mouth dry.
Overall: I quite like it. The coffee is the dominant flavour, but there is enough other flavours in there to keep it interesting.
