440ml can, packaged on 30/09/2020. Poured into a tulip.
Look: a pale gold, opaque, with about 1.5 cm of bubble white head. Hangs around for a little while but subsided to a thin film. Leaves some lacing.
Smell: yeasty, some clove and banana, but also a little citrusy hop as well. Quite nice.
Taste: similar to the nose, orangey hop character with some underlying clove, spice and banana. It works alright but I’m left wanting a little more.
Feel: mid bodied, mouth filling and somehow feels very wet (I know it’s wet, but somehow feels wetter). There is a slight prickle of carbonation, but not much. The bitterness is mild and works well, leading in to a slightly dry finish.
Overall: yeah, it’s solid. Interesting but a little lacking.
