Had on tap at Big Woods pizza.
Pours black with a huge creamy mocha head with excellent retention and some lacing down the glass.
Smells of dark roasted malts, a little coffee and maybe a touch of chocolate.
Flavors really burst out more than the nose would indicate. Huge roasted malt/coffee presence almost espresso like. A touch of chocolate in the background with a light bitterness.
Medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Enjoyable stout. Probably my favorite from Big Woods so far. Same good flavors as Tim's Big Woods Stout, but the extra ABV creates a huge improvement in mouthfeel. Went very well with the salty pizza crust.
