Appearance: Pale golden color. Insane amount of tiny bubbles rising through the beer. Fully three fingers of creamy dense head with excellent retention. Left plenty of lacing.
Smell: Light sweet malt aroma. A little rice as well.
Taste: Slightly more hop bitterness than malt flavor. Not a complex palate, just a regular lager.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied, with lots of carbonation. Finishes crisp with a little of the hop bitterness.
Overall: Not bad for a Chinese adjunct lager. Better than some of the more famous examples. Goes great with Sichuan hotpot, that hell-broth that many Chinese love to boil all sorts of "food" in. The taste won't get in the way of all that spice, and is quite a refreshing way to try to put out the fire.
