Bottle: Poured a clear brown color ale with a super large light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramel malt notes with light grainy notes with some star anise ester. Taste is a messy mix of residual candi sugar with some star anise ester with grainy unrefined caramel malt notes. Body is light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not as bad as some of their other offering but still unbalanced offering.
