Deep dark color with just a hint of ruby highlights. Head is thick, lasts, and leaves exceptional well formed rings of lace. Lace is intricate and on both sides of glass, beautiful sight. Strong aroma of vanilla and coffee. same on the taste buds with a touch of sweet malts. Extremely decadent and full flavored, much more pronounced flavors than your normal porter. Full bodied yet not filling. Very nice and drinkable. Co owner and brewer Matt makes great porters, I'm always up for trying them.
