Amber color with a light head and moderate carbonation. Very light smell and taste of banana, with a little hop bitterness. I generally like Unibroue beers quite a lot, but this was just okay.

Clear dark amber. Like all Unibroue beers this tastes of Belgian yeast, but the hops keep it under control. Winey and strong with alcohol, plus citrus taste and hints of fruitcake. I think this is actually really good. It's hoppy but not so bitter. Distinct sweetness like a Belgian strong ale. Fruity and yeasty taste. Aftertaste is moderately bitter with hops and yeast. Truly different even from other Belgian IPAs. From the 12 oz bottle.

Not a huge fan of this style but this is pretty good. Copper colored beer with fine lacing down the Tulip. Huge hops on the nose with scents of Belgian Candi and caramel. Very smooth with quite a backlash of hop concentrate. Nothing cloying. Very easy to drink although no where near session able cause of the high ABV. Very nice offering again by one of the greatest brewing companies on the planet!

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, from their Holiday Sampler 4-pack at the University Ave. West LCBO in nearby downtown Windsor. My second beer from the Chambly, QC brewery.

Body is shining gold with glimmers of copper, close to clear, with a coconut milk coloured head, full and with good retention.
Aroma is a medley of umami yeast and fruity/pine hops; lightly tropical, of banana, papaya.
The flavour follows suit, with prominent fatty yeast flavours and soft tropical fruits, this time quickly balanced by super dry bitter hops, slightly pithy and lingering long through the finish; feel is velvety, medium-light carbonation, medium body.
It has a great feel, and while tasty, it's not particularly interesting

Surprisingly good Belgian ale. Its a triple and its been well-hopped. Worth seeking out cross-style. High abv however is a knock out for a lunch time beer.

Pours a hazy peach color with a chunky, everlasting cap. Big citrus and herbal hops and bread in the nose. The taste is hoppy and spicy with chewy pale malts and biscuits in abundance. High carbonation and full body. High hop bitterness in the long finish alongside loads of herbal notes.
Hoppy but very balanced with complex malt profile.

Poured a 473ml can into a pint glass. A two finger off white head on a hazy apricot.. Good head retention. Lots of patchy lacing.
Lots of fruit in the nose. You can smell it as soon as the can is opened. The taste follows the nose. Fruit up front. Lots of esters. Sweet malts. A dry piney hop finish.
Medium body and carbonation. Overall like a hoppy Triple. The Belgian yeast delivers a boozy, fruity Triple which finishes as a hoppy IPA. An interesting variant of an old favourite.

Appearance: Cloudy orange, good head.
Smell: Light aroma, citrus peel and a touch of Belgian yeast.
Taste: Bready with a mild mix of spices, turns a little more towards citrus mixed with black pepper. Dry finish with continuing citrus and pepper.
Overall: Tthis Belgian style IPA is kind of weird tasting in my opinion. Best by date is in 2026, so this is how they want it. Not bad but not my preferred mix of flavors.

I guess I should not be surprised that this is pretty darn good .... This is beer #2 from an interesting variety pack I came across... It's hard to be "unique" in this style... But this is indeed... Unique
