This beer pours a medium golden color with a small to medium head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is fresh hops, citrus in smell. The taste is exquisitely citrusy fresh hop. In the taste you get more of a mild malt flavor and a little honey and effervescent to finish it off. Great fresh hopped beer even though it is not real fresh. So special. Very unique offering. This is an amazing fresh hop beer. So rich, piney, fruity, and dank. Has amazing shelf life still giving beautiful fresh hop ale after many months in garage, fridge, or cellar. Incredible job here.

It's hard to find good pale ales these days and as I sip this I could see why It must be difficult to craft such a smooth pale malt body with such a balanced IPA hoppy bitterness, but yet make it so smooth that I'm like what this is a pale ale? That's exactly what the beer I'm drinking right now. So smooth so dangerously drinkable I'm actually kind of mad. I only picked up one. That could be the only flaw which lowers my score not readily available everywhere

Opaque sunshine gold pour accompanied by a pancake of light cream colored foam. Nose shares citrus and papaya.

Taste shows mango, papaya, sweet tangerine, light kilned malt, snatch of creamy wheat, resiny warmth hiding at the back. Mourhfeel is pushing medium and creamy to the tongue. Finish is a bittersweet marmalade with some dank slithering along. Nice beer .

Huh, noticed I'd never reviewed this.

Very effervescent slightly pale gold pour, modest head. Very, VERY fresh grassy hop aroma, in fact, quite fresh, though it does remind me a lot of the standard Lagunitas IPA. Taste is.... rather pungent, with grassy, tropical hop notes, a touch of sweet malts, very fruity finish. Body is thin and watery: I don't remember this in the past, but this beer strikes me as such. But points for inventiveness. This beer's been available for years and it's still for more inventive and interesting than 98% of IPAs that have come out the last decade.

Cloudy, orange color with a big, white head. Citrus, pine, and dank hops in the aroma. Juicy, crisp, and refreshing. Strong hoppy bitterness but very balanced.

Purchased at Bound Beverage, Warrington, PA. $13.50/6pk 12oz bottles. Beer #1,250 rated on BA.

Pours a semi-hazy, golden honey color. A half finger head on the initial pour with mild lacing.

Aromas of citrus and hops.

Delicous flavors of mango, pineapple, lemon, vanilla with a semi-sweet hoppy bitterness. The ABV is not noticeable.

Medium carbonation, semi-viscous.

This is one of the best IPAs I've had in quite some time. So many IPAs are "been there, done that" but this separates itself with a a delicous combination of fresh hops and citrus. I'm looking forward to finishing out the 6pk...Cheers!

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed golden amber color with a small head of white foam. The head has a low level of retention, fading and leaving just a trace of lace on ths sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite strong of a bready and cracker malt aroma mixed with a big showing of orange and grapefruit. Along with these smells comes some peach and apricot as well as some nice fresh herbal and pine aromas.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and slightly grainy base malt flavor that is matched with a bit of orange and a big grapefruit hop taste. There are other hop flavors of an herbal and pine nature, with all hop tastes having a vibrant green taste. As the taste advances the sweetness increases a bit with more orange being joined by apricot and grape. Toward the end of the taste transition, a bit of hay joins in, and with a spike in the herbal hop, one is left with a malty but fresh taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess as well as more moderate in nature with respects to its carbonation level. For the style and the flavors, the feel is nice and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A rather nice brew overall, with a decent fresh hopped-up taste. Would certainly visit again.

Fruity, big citrus notes coming through, wonderful transition to a clean finish. By far the best hoppy beer lagunitas has done. Only bad note is for god's sake get a new design for your bottles, the new one for this is awful.

Hazy golden color with a modest but lasting white head and bits of decent lacing.
The aroma is citrus and pine resin.
The taste is mildly sweet tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit and light caramel malt. The finish is dry with lingering grapefruit zest and pine.
The body is medium, lively carbonation, fairly soft and smooth, very drinkable.
Altogether, this is an excellent, hoppy, flavorful and refreshing brew, should go well with spicy foods or just anytime for the enjoyment.

Pours clear yellow with plenty of foam in the Copper Kettle goblet. Massive fragrance of mixed citrus with apple and pear and resiny nose. Lively and tangy on the tongue. Very fruity stuff with a zing of fermenting pineapple. Citrus peel finish. It's like no other fresh hop brew that I can remember. This is quite interesting and highly sippable. From the 12 oz bottle purchased in the far Northwest.
