Russian hops? In brief... It's wet, loose and pleasantly spicy. I catch hints of pepper. Kind of a lazy hop that creeps up towards the end. Definitely different but should be experienced. Could be a clean up hop in a multi- hopped beer that has the gusto to pull everything together and complete the lupulin overdose in a big IPA. lagunitas did this hop justice in this beer by Tying it into a trusted recipe and giving it a bit of spotlight. Beer is crisp but slightly unassertive as hop takes its time to catch up to your taste buds. Piddling with relatively unknown/newer hops is a specialty of breweries the caliber of Lagunitas and they are at the forefront of their hop game in my opinion. Take that with a grain of brewers salt.
