So many brewers have been creating sour brews in new and interesting ways. This one would have to be considered one of the unique ones, with loads of cherries and unusual yeast.
It pours a gorgeous deep red with nice fizz. The aroma is dominated by cherries - like a cherry soda smell. The taste is a cherry influenced sour. I like most fruit, and cherry flavors, but I don't like eating fresh cherries, and this reminded me of fresh cherries. It finishes wimpy. I wish some of these had more malts (alcohol) - I think they can stand it.
Not recommended. I prefer my cherries in something like Victory's Kirsch Gose.
