Runs the standard yellow color in beer, bone dry west coast ipa or lager? So much hop oil there isn't much of a head to be produced. Aroma was gargantuan amounts of dry hopping. Leans on the grapefruit and melon in the aroma, but it is heavy.
Pine and woodsy sage come out a little bit in the taste and mouthfeel. They managed to keep the ibu's way down on this, went with lush and tropical throughout the mouthfeel. Not an overly grating bitterness. Stayed away from caramel and crystal malt.
Funny name. This one will corrupt you.

Had this at the DIPA festival.
Was lighter looking than expected, average yellow, barely a degree of head on the top. Aroma knocked me back, lots of dry hopping.
Grapefruit and pine taste, seemed to almost had some type of wood chips in it, very low bitterness, this one was a ton of hop taste, wasn't really like the hop stoopid. Cool name, great stuff as always between Lagunitas and the Bisto.

Had this brew at the Bistro's 10th Annual Double IPA Festival. Poured a straw yellow color with almost no head whatsoever. Not overly impressive...but wait. The aroma is an awesome sweet yellow grapefruit. Almost smells too good to drink. Very smooth drink with little harshness as some DIPA's have and a very limited noticeable aftertaste. Huge flavor beer and at 8% this went down way easy. Great beer overall and wishing they bottle this at some point. Nicely done.
