On tap at The Village Tavern in Geneseo, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like pine and marijuana, orange, mango, tea, and light maltiness.
This might be a touch old, but on draft it’s still quite tasty, with a fresh and zesty bitterness, not too much maltiness, and a really juicey orange, mango, and almost tea-like floral character. There’s also grapefruit and marijuana.
This is light bodied and really drinkable.
I don’t drink enough Lagunitas for how much I really enjoy most beers I have from them.

12 oz. bottle, no date. Shocked to see this in the cooler at the local beer store after all this time, sus as hell. 2021 One-Hitter release from Lagunitas. Giving it the review here for the sake of the tick.
Poured to a Piraat snifter.
Nice traditional golden orange body on the pour, finger of frothy white head that doesn't really stick around too long, but leaves some good scattered strands of fluffy lacing.
Surprisingly fresh aroma - fruity, floral, piney, hoppy. Soapy notes of freshly cut mango, oranges, mandarins, papayas, with earthy notes of creamy, caramel malt.
Once again, I'm super pleasantly surprised with how well this beer has held up, especially if it is nearing a year or more in age. Tons of lightly fruity / floral Mosaic hops, with some pine & bitterness from the other varieties present. Flavors of tangerine, mango, & grapefruit are all present. Soft notes of caramel malt, twigs, tea leafs, but nothing like the caramel malt bomb I was expecting. The beer is still oily, hoppy, & fresh tasting.
Super smooth, crisp, clean, & easy-drinking. Piney, resinous, & slightly bitter hop finish.
Overall, I did have this beer when it was fresh, and I'm pretty sure I recall there being much more pungent citrus hops present (flavors of lime & zest) of which there isn't much left, but to be fair, this beer is tasting fabulous if it is truly almost a year or so old (it would be nice if Lagunitas could use standard bottle dating).

Wasn't sure if this was a rebranding of that super awesome fresh hop beer they used to do (Born Yesterday) or a totally different beer. Looks to me like a different beer using different hops/hop farms than Born Yesterday. Also, its not as good.
Pours a honey color. 3/5" white head. Good clarity. The aroma doesn't have that big fresh hop charge that Born Yesterday did. A bit of malty woodiness, caramel, the Mosaic hops don't jump like they can.
Taste is good, there is plenty of Simcoe here giving that herbal tree bitterness. Sabro is disappointing, none of that pepper edge hoppiness. Citra, sure, light orange presence. Mosaic quantity seems to be very fractional. I get more Simcoe than the other 3 hops combined. The bitterness is good because of it, but the booziness is for sure there. Not really sure about the commercial tug job regarding its juiciness. The amount of Simcoe and west coast ipa dryness in the mouth feel run contrary to that narrative. Self reporting narratives are often just poor historians or projections.
These also seemed to come out much later than the usual hop harvest fresh and wet hopped beers.

Pours semi clear gold. Light foam. Dank hop aroma. Super juicy hop body. Very flavorful. Fades to a medium bitterness. An excellent wet hop ipa.

A delicious IPA more flavorful than the flagship Lagunitas IPA but falls waaaay short of Born Yesterday. A fantastic IPA overall but hard to justify for only a 4 pack of 12ozs.

L - Poured a light amber with a one finger white head that lingered. Light lacing.
S - Nose of citrus, tropical fruit and wet grass.
T - Flavors of sweet citrus, tropical fruit, grass. Mild hop bitterness on the finish. Very balanced and drinkable.
F - Medium body with a wetness to it. Light carbonation.
O - Very nice.

I got the 2021 vintage off the single shelf at the Woodman's in Onalaska, Wisconsin just outside La Crosse. It poured a very slightly hazy golden with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had hemp and citrus fruit. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with earth, floral hop, hemp and subtle tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of resin, orange, grapefruit, pineapple and toasted malt. Sweet tropical fruit taste with piney bitterness and toasted caramel.

Look...the usual Wc IPa look. A little haze but very little. Yellowish with a hint of gold
Smell...Dank citrus earth smell. So hop prevalent as it really excels. This one has lessened from the ones i had 6 weeks ago but still next level.
Taste...Sweet fresh lemon grass tangerine bitter balanced dry finish that requires quick sips.. A fresh hop enjoyment
Feel...A thin feel backed up by a medium carbonation that gives a light but full bodied taste. It provides a texture that procures a definitive taste.
Overall...The comparisons to Born Yesterday are inevitable with that said, This beer is very good and glad to have and have had quite a few. These high end Lagunitas beers really kick it up. excellent

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1+ finger white head that receded to a wispy cap with a thick collar; nice lacing;
S: Simcoe comes through the strongest with dank pine,, but Mosaic and Citra are noticeable as well; coming through as pineapple and grapefruit respectively;
T: mostly a mish mash of all 4 hops, but at times, each hop pops forward for a moment; moderate bitterness on the finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: very enjoyable;

Look: Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a one finger, eggshell white head of foam. Minimal lacing, moderate head retention.
Aroma: Sticky and tropical. Lots of overripe guava and mango with quite a resinous backdrop of pine sap. Fairly generic but very pungent.
Taste: A lot more balanced than I was expecting. Tropical fruit still takes center stage. Upfront, flavors of clementine, mango and papaya. Slightly funky and musky notes of wet grass ( in a pleasant way ) midpalate - followed by strong notes of hop resin, along the lines of sautéed onions and garlic. Ends on dry notes of grapefruit peel and notes of lemon rind.
Feel: Lighter than the aroma would suggest. Mouthfeel is on the thinner side of the spectrum, but I wouldn't call it watery or anemic. Body is light for the style - low carbonation. Bitter / dry.
Overall: Decent american IPA.

worthy offering from a place that makes a lot of good beer. Well done Lagunitas!! And I love the fresh hop!
L: from the bottle and it's classy.
S: grassy, citrusy, bit of pine. very inviting.
T: delivers on the nose. maybe a bit of peach in there. finish is satisfyingly bitter.
F: smooth. light carbonation. resiny stickiness on the finish.
O: Hey, it works for me. I hope they come back with this in later years! I'll be waiting...

12oz bottled poured into teku glass. Picked up from liquor store for $2.49. No discernable date on bottle, just a weird code on the neck.
Appearance - Hazy amber body. Big white offwhite head somewhere between pancake batter and sudsy. 4.25
Smell - Clean grassy hop. A little faint and muted.
Taste - Clean grassy hop.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied. Mild astringency.
Overall - Sessionable.

12/19/21 West Coast IPA. Clear. Weak head & smell. Almost undetectable pine. Not bursting with flavor. Enjoyable but nothing special.
