On-tap at Lagunitas
A: The pour is a nice amber color with a big white head perched on top.
S: The nose certainly exhibits the ginger in this beer. In fact, that's just about all you notice. The ginger is pungent and intense, but certainly has a fresh aroma to it.
T: The ginger is once again dominant, allowing just a few hints of hop flavor to come through. In fact, I can almost taste the ginger before I even put the glass to my mouth.
M: The body is medium, as is the level of carbonation.
D: You certainly have to enjoy ginger to find this one drinkable. While I do like ginger, this was just too much.
