This IPA with refreshing juicy citrus notes is a roundtrip ticket to the tropics, accompanied by a tasty soundtrack of freshly-squeezed pineapples, mango, and passion fruit, all carried just by hops. These beats just hit different.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a cloudy yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is oranges, pineapple, passion fruit. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Hazy orangish and cloudy. Fine white head. Nice lacing left over. Nose is citrus and so was taste. Good feel like a zesty grapefruit bursting in the mouth.

Pale straw and hazy with minimal head. Smell is mild tropical hops- as advertised- but I'm really just getting pineapple and not very assertive. Taste is a touch of tropical hops. The malt and sweetness is rather low. Not a lot of taste here, but it's okay. Kind of watery. Very drinkable and nicely carbonated. It seems like a good idea to try to take a NEIPA and make it into a lighter sessionable kind of thing. But it doesn't work particularly well here. Although this would be a better alternative to something like Bud Light and the ilk.

Part of a Lagunitas Variety 12pk
Pours a light, straw yellow color but very hazy. An aggressive, two finger white head that last quite a while. Mostly opaque.
Aromas of tropical fruits like pineapple and mango.
An easy drinking IPA. Flavors of pineapple, mango, lemon with a light hoppy bitterness. A session brew for sure.
Thinner consistency with mild carbonation.
Overall, a perfect IPA to enjoy on a warm spring day here in PA. Outstanding?…no but sometimes an easy drinking IPA is what is called for. Still well crafted and a beer I’d try again…Cheers!

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a moderately hazed yellow amber color with a small head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time and leaving a moderate sum of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a tropical fruit aroma with a good showing of pineapple, mango, and papaya. Along with these aromas comes a decent showing of a bready malt and a moderate amount of tangerine and orange. Rounding it all out are smells of grapefruit and a bit of herb, as well as some light peach aromas.
Taste – The taste begins with a light cracker and biscuit malt flavor paired with a moderate showing of tropical fruits. The tropical fruit are as the nose would suggest with a decent showing of pineapple, mango, passionfruit, and papaya. There are some very light grapefruit and herbal hops upfront, which persist throughout, potentially getting a bit stronger toward the end of the taste transition. Notes of grain and lemon develop at the end, leaving one with a moderately light, tropical, and neutral taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew was on the lighter and thinner side with a carbonation level that was lower. I would have liked a little higher carbonation as it would have paired with the lower abv better, making for a more refreshing and light drinker.
Overall – An OK more sessionable hazy IPA. Decent, but nothing to go out of your way for.

From a twelve ounce can this beer has a light straw color, very hazy and opaque. The head is white and clingy. The aroma is faintly tropical with a touch of citrus peel and pineapple. It isn't as pronounced as I expected, given the name. The taste is similar...some juicy hop flavor but not very pronounced. Balanced. Lighter in body than I'd prefer. It's drinkable, a session beer for sure, but lacks in enough flavor to make it interesting.
