Double dry-hopped w/ a juicy blast of Citra & Mosaic, yet finishes super smooth.

From a 12 oz can into a pint glass.
Hazy orange juice color with medium foamy – creamy white head that fades slowly leaving a thin cap and collar and a good amount of clingy lacing around the glass.
Nose piney hops, mild boozy alcohol, a bit astringent
Taste mild piney hops and citrus, honey
Mouth – low viscosity, quenching
Overall – quite good, tasty, quenching, mild, 8% ABV is well masked. Would try again.

Cool concept but it doesn’t work. I didn’t really notice any pine unlike other people that have reviewed this. More sweet and fruity than anything else.

Picked up a six pack of cans at Bradfords Liquors in Plymouth, Massachusetts for about fifteen dollars. My fifteenth brew reviewed from these guys. Just ok for me.

Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, slight haze, head is off white with fine bubbles and presents a quick 1/4 inch thick, spotty lacing on the glass sides.
Smell is citrus pith forward, backed by light pine, mixed tropical notes, base pale malt with toast and light honey notes.
Taste is more mixed hop with citrus, pith, pine, earth, mixed tropicals, pale malt, toast and honey.
Mouthfeel is lighter carbonation, light sweetness, light to moderate bitterness.
Overall a mixed style IPA that leans cleaner and more west coast in flavor but lighter in feel (like NE).

Mildly hazy, slightly deep yellow beer with barely off-white head. The strong hop smell hits you as soon as the can is opened, and positively assaults your nose from the glass. Not as one-note as many IPAs which I'm happy about; a fairly complex aroma of mango and grapefruit, but maybe also something stale and kind of bug-spray-esque. But overall sweet and fruity.
Strong on the tongue as well, perhaps too much for me in fact, as I'm having a hard time discerning anything in particular. Good bitterness in the aftertaste though. Fairly thick and clingy mouthfeel, but within reason.
One of the top IPAs I've had, although there haven't been many.

The beast is hazy and smells of pineapple and orange. Kind of like a soda pop mouthfeel with beer and it's tastes okay like that with the fruit juice and bitter orange peel but I wouldn't buy it again. I finally found a six pack that wasn't old 09/05/25 but wasn't crazy about the first one. I wish I could get some fresh LAG'S though

A: slight haze; medium to deep gold in color; 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate tight collar; nice lacing;
S: pineapple and orange;
T: muddled citrus and tropical fruit from start to finish; virtually no bitterness;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish that continues to dry out in the aftertaste; soft; no hop burn;
O: nicely done; it's exactly what the brewery says it is;

Better flavor than the maximus. But I love them both. Wish they would 12 pack this like the hazy maximus at Bevmo.
