Created for Sacramento Beer Week.
A: Dark woody amber with a billowing light brown head that faded to lace.
S: Big typical Lagunitas stanky hop greatness. It's not as potent as their ipa's though, and the rye adds a great balance of spicy bread crust.
T: I get notes of spicy rye and crushingly fresh hops with dark bread crust and a hint of caramel. The finish has a nice bitterness to it from the hops, and the aftertaste has a touch of tobacco.
M: Bubbly ample carbonation with a medium body.
O: Dangerously drinkable and unique. I wish Lagunitas would make more beers like this.
