On tap at the source.
Listed as X Galaxy Stoopid. An experimental hop varietal.
A: Pours clear yellowish orange with a fine white head which leaves a trace of spotty lace.
N: Huge tropical fruit (passion and guava) along with floral notes.
T: Expecting lots of juicy fruit but instead get big malts up front. Let down here.
M: Semi-moderate body and carbonation. Sweetish malts throughout from start to finish.
O: Aroma is great. Just smell this one.

I’m guessing this is a variation of Hop Stoopid but it’s distinct enough to stand out from the standard bearer.
It pours a light golden-straw color. I get all sorts of tropical fruit notes in the aroma—some papaya, guava and pineapple. Flavor is crisp and pleasing, with the tropical notes contrasted by a bump of bitterness on the road to flavor. Very pleasing and enjoyable. My only critique is that it’s thin bodied, almost too thin for the hop profile.
