Bottled
Pours a slightly hazy amber body with spotty white head
Really big malty aroma big barley notes
There a weetabix like flavour that gives it a disconcerting malt drink flavour with slight bitter finish
Odd rather than bad

500ml of bottle conditioned English bitter, poured into a vase shaped pint glass, carefully.
I bought this and two other, different bottles while at the Brewery Tap.
The beer is clear amber and an off-white creamy head sits on top, the head left some good lacing as the beer level sank.
The aroma is a heady mix of hops and yeast, couldn't detect any malts in the smell.
The taste is mostly hop based too, giving the beer a true bitter feel and a tangy bite throughout the tasting.
The brewery only started up in Feb 2009, by four mates who liked Real Ale. This was their first beer brewed, I hope the other two I have to review are as good!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
