Nice splash of hoppy aromas and big flowery essence. Not too bitter, but very light bodied so the hops are very perky. Another clean and pleasant light beer without much body. It's beery without big expectations. Resins in the aftertaste. Clear golden color in the glass.
On tap at Big Cheese in downtown Riverside.

You know you're at an American brewpub when there's a pale ale being served. One more offering from Big Cheese consumed at the source, on to the beer:
They really emphasize the "pale" in the look; pale blonde colored like a typical lager. Spotty lace kicks up around. Citric in the nose, also sweet like cream which was unexpected. As with the aroma, the taste is like a mix of pale ale and cream ale. It's got the citric and light hoppiness of the style, and also sweet cream-like action. The aftertaste is a mineral-ey mix. Light medium bodied.
Cream ale, pale ale, who knows? It's fine whatever it is...

On tap at The Big Cheese after a trip to More Beer in Riverside on 7/2/2010.
Pours golden yellow with a little brown in it and clear with white head that laces but doesnt last.
Aroma is bitter, vegetal, piney, and possibly a little citrus and malt.
Flavor is a nice balance between hoppy and malty but over all kind of flat. Hints of orange and malt are pretty much it. Medium bitterness.
Body is on the lighter side of medium. This beer is drinkable, I could drink a glass on a hot day.
