On tap at the Yucaipa Big Cheese...
A - Pours deep brown with a one finger off white head that dissipates at a good pace. Much to my surprise there is a decent amount lacing to be had here...
S - Cherries dominate the scent. Smells like a cherry soda...
T - Cherries, and sweet malts. Ends on a slight bitter note. Abv is well hidden...
M - Light bodied with a good amount of carboantion...
O - Pretty tasty. Cherry works well here. Could see myself getting this one again...
Cheers...

Well, this is fun. A lot of fruit flavor without a hint of the dreaded cough syrup. Just a suggestion of malty sweetness and more on the tart side. Tastes like dark bing cherries. Very aromatic as you sip. Decent carbonation and very light body, but the cherries stay on the lips. Surprisingly bitter aftertaste like a Pilsener. Reddish amber in the tall glass with nice lacing.
This would be the bomb for a big schooner on a hot day. It's a rainy Sunday afternoon for us, but this is the Big Cheese beer I'd go for unless you hate fruit flavors.

not much of a lager-head. got this with the sampler, then ordered a pitcher of it.
pours a dark hazy brown.
you can smell the fruit aromas as soon as its poured. almost like a black cherry soda
fairly carbonated with a semi-creamy mouthfeel. the taste of the black cherrys really picks up in your mouth.
if you see this there try to get it. well worth it
